Inventory Control Leader

Summary :

You will get to ensure precise inventory management and availability for production in designated areas, while strategically managing out-of-stock materials to minimize financial impact.

Responsibilities Include :

  • Drive and ensure 100% compliance with EHS policy / ISO compliance
  • Check Batch Sheets / Manufacturing Instructions for report outs and consumptionsManage 200 process orders, per area, each month to ensure on time production reporting, ISO accuracy, and financial accuracyManage all Bill of Materials and formulations accurately, pulling in cross-functional teams as necessary to ensure accuracy
  • Create Container Content Forms for all inbound tankers
  • Maintain mass balance of materials for plant usage as assignedAccurately manage up to 300 individual line items, with a value of $6MM, with expectation of 97% accuracy month-over-month
  • Perform cycle counts and inventory reconciliation
  • Drive evolution of Inventory Control to establish processes and decrease transactional workload / increase forms of automation for this roleUsing Kaizen / 5S leading process improvements to material storage and material flow throughout production area
  • Expertly manage the following physical transport type inventoriesOMYA containersFumed Silica Rail Cars from various national suppliersPallet inventory, ensuring the most cost viable split between recycled and new at all times40+ trailer / intermodal loads per month, directly to customer via stock transfer and delivery creation
  • Inventory management assistance of the off-site GATE facility; assisting with Process Order maintenance, bill of material maintenance
  • Verify goods receipt invoices
  • Order and maintain office supplies
  • Document and report out weekly and monthly material and / or labor variances
  • Monitor and drive compliant and on time month end transactions
  • Lead yearly physical inventory count for area assigned, with an expectation of 97%+ financial and absolute accuracy

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, bend, stoop, climb, twist, turn, grasp, and move about the facility.

Walking, walking on irregular surfaces, and balancing will be required. Hearing, sight to include depth perception and color vision, and the ability to speak clearly will be required.

Occasional lifting and moving up to 50 lbs. and the ability to comply with PPE requirements (ability to pass a fit-test and wear a respirator is required for certain positions / locations).

The environment for this position is a Manufacturing setting, with exposure to outside weather conditions and loud noise.

Qualifications :

The following are required for the role

  • 5+ years operational experience within a manufacturing or distribution facility
  • 3+ years of direct inventory control experience with an Associate's degree in business / supply chain / inventory / engineering or 5+ years of direct inventory control experience without a degree
  • Demonstrated strong communication and organizational Skills
  • Demonstrated strong knowledge of SAP or other Business Enterprise software
  • Demonstrated Microsoft Business Applications knowledge

The following are preferred for this role

  • Prior people leader experience
  • Management of a Physical Inventory
  • 5+ years experience in SAP
  • Bachelor's degree in Business / Supply Chain / other relevant field

What We Offer :

Base Pay Range : $84,500 - $123,750

The actualsalary offered is determined by factors including but not limited to education, experience, skill sets, and geography.

Local geographic pay differentials may not be reflected in the above pay range and will be discussed with you by a member of the HR team when applicable.
