Experienced Associate or Full Professor of Business Intelligence & Analytics with the Possibility of Endowed Chair (Tenure Track)
Description
The Heider College of Business at Creighton University invites applications for a tenure track faculty position in Business Intelligence & Analytics (BIA).
Teaching load is five classes per academic year (reduced for Endowed Chairs).The teaching load includes a mix of undergraduate and graduate courses that could include (but is not limited to) : management information systems, business analytics, database management, systems analysis and design, cybersecurity, machine learning, or artificial intelligence.
The College seeks a balanced teacher-scholar with a commitment to excellent teaching as well as publishable scholarship.
The candidate will be expected to provide academic advising for students, as well as service to the College, University, and business community.
Qualifications
Qualified candidates should have an earned terminal degree (PhD, DBA) from a business school in Information Systems / Analytics or a closely related field.
If the terminal degree is not from a business school, possessing a secondary degree (for example, masters degree) from a business school will be considered as an alternative.
Candidates are required to have relevant professional (industry) work experience. Candidates should have a research, teaching and service record that supports appointment at the Associate or Full Professor rank.
