ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS : Understands and responds to internal guests needs. Communicates in a friendly, respectful and understandable manner.

Meets expected service delivery times as defined by department’s service standards or as required by receiver of service or goods.

Provides support for the special events and special projects areas. Handles shipping, labeling, packaging, loading and unloading of materials from trucks and storage.
Responsible for technical work, repair and maintenance of any stage sets, costumes, lighting of stages or meetings and conventions and special events.
Sound reinforcement of all special projects. Demonstrates basic artistic abilities in drawing, painting, sewing, woodworking, metalworking, sculpting, fiberglass, computer design.
Specializes in special events set ups. Works as directed by Supervisor in one or more of the following areas : Carpentry, Painting, Rigging, Lighting, Electrics, Audio, Audio / Visual, Wardrobe.
Provides support as needed to the Entertainment Department. Operates motorized vehicles, . hydraulic and electrically powered hi reach (man lift), sewing machines and power and hand tools.
EDUCATION / SKILLS / EXPERIENCE : Degree in Technical Theatre preferred but not required. Six to eight years experience in setup of scenery, sound, lighting and audio / visual systems, and costumes and repair.
Must have knowledge of safe installation techniques, weight rating, use of hardware and fire safety. Ability to work with others as well as alone in various areas and situations on short notice.
