Your Typical Daily Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional dining service to a group of assigned tables in our on-site restaurant
- Take meal orders from residents and their guests and enter with accuracy into our Point of Sale System
- Complete all front of house side work in preparation for meal service to ensure efficiency, organization and sanitation
- Assist with meal service at special events and celebrations held within the Belmont Village community
Skills Required for Success
- Being flexible and adaptable to different schedules, tasks and evolving needs within the department
- Proficient in verbal and written English with strong oral and written communication skills
- Ability to actively listen, observe, identify and anticipate guests needs with a strong focus on customer service
- Ability to follow detailed instruction while working as part of a team to achieve a collective goal
OUR MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Must be 16 years of age or older
- Proficient in written and verbal English
- Demonstrates a willingness to learn and work in a hands-on position
- Interest in working with aging population
