JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- With minimal supervision, create integrated master schedules in P6 using information from in house stakeholders, and contractor supplied schedules.
- Coordinate the responsible party’s work throughout engineering and regulatory phases.
- Monitor key milestones and deliverables.
- Evaluate schedule progress and trends and provide improvement recommendations to Project Management team.
- Review and approve contractor baselines and schedule updates.
- Update schedules weekly, perform analysis, and prepare reports for stakeholders.
- Facilitate periodic schedule meetings when requested by the Project Manager.
- Prepare and issue a periodic status and critical item report to Project Management that highlights any significant program issues and potential delays to project milestones.
- Evaluate and report on the Schedule Performance Index (SPI), Cost Performance Index (CPI), and project Earned Value (EV).
- Investigate all deviations from established cost and schedule baselines, apprise and make recommendations to management concerning corrective actions or workarounds required to meet project objectives.
- Maintain the project variance log.
- Work with field engineers and periodically visit project sites to verify progress reported by contractors.
