Client Corporate Finance Group (CFG) Client Liason

What you'll do :
As the CFG Client Liaison, you'll be responsible at group level for optimizing the client onboarding process and supporting the group leader in executing CFG’s internal team strategy.
You'll provide the leadership needed to drive performance with regard to service level standards, operational process management and client onboarding and support processes, as well as function productivity and efficiency.
What we are looking for :
Scope of responsibilities include, but aren't limited to, overseeing the CFG analysts that manage the CFG email box 40% of time , manage the new client and syndicated transaction onboarding process 35% of time , and serve as the liaison between CFG and internal teams 25% of time , including the Loan Admin / Closers, Specialty Finance Services (SFS), Client Service Advisors (CSA), Preferred Banking Team, and Treasury Management on new and existing deals
Applies deep expertise in bank products, processes and systems and effectively trouble shooting to ensure a high-quality client experience
Serves as a daily escalation resource to ensure client expectations are met or exceeded
Gathers data to advance sale process and completes all required documentation
Assists team in pre-sales activities such as pitch preparation, client research, preparation of prospect and client files for further action
Assists with sales and service administration and processing ensuring client experience is seamless and opportunities are identified and met
May coordinate closing with closing department, clients and attorneys
Provides oversight, monitoring, and reporting specific to assigned business group for regulatory remediation
Ensures the required internal control standards for CFG inbox, including adherence to audit, regulatory and compliance policies
Lead and develop some CFG Analyst(s); responsible coaching, performance management, training and development
Tracks implementation requests to keep the process on track with timelines
Maintains current client information on Bank CRM and DebtDomain system / files to ensure client history is accurate and complete
Exercises judgment to identify, diagnose, and solve problems within given rules
Works independently and regularly handles non-routine situations
Broader work or accountabilities may be assigned as needed
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree; graduate degree or training preferred plus 8 or more years of directly related experience in Banking processes
Knowledge of the Corporate Lending environment
Advanced to expert knowledge of general banking activities, including deposit transactions, treasury management and / or other commercial banking products and services
Advanced to expert knowledge of applicable regulatory and legal compliance obligations, rules and regulations, industry standards and practices
Advanced to expert knowledge of deposit transaction activities, including item processing, exception processing, account analysis, and familiarity with compliance obligations and industry best practices
Strong speaking and writing skills for internal and external audiences
Previously leadership experience required
Intermediate to advanced knowledge of general banking, including understanding of bank products, services, and regulations, policies and procedures, with an emphasis in treasury management, credit facilities, client service and syndications process
Intermediate to advanced knowledge of deposit and payment products, and online technology platforms, sales concepts, and banking regulations
Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills required
Ability to work independently with little supervisory oversight
Compensation : Salary range for new hires is generally $114,000.00 - $136,563.00 for Los Angeles, CA. Salary amount is determined by specific job location.
In addition, the role may be eligible for annual bonus / incentives earned and restricted stock.
