We are working in partnership with a secondary school in Durham who are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic English Teacher to provide long-term cover from September.
This is a full-time role until Christmas initially, with the possibility to extend. You will be responsible for teaching English across KS3 and KS4, following the national curriculum.
What you'll need to succeed
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). ECT’s wee to apply.
- A degree in English or a related subject
- Experience of teaching English to KS3 and KS4 students
- A valid Enhanced DBS check or willingness to obtain one
- A strongmitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people
- Excellentmunication and interpersonal skills
- A positive and enthusiastic attitude
