We are seeking a dedicated licensed Counselor to join the Catalyst Physician Group team. The ideal candidate will provide compassionate, evidence-based therapy to individuals, addressing a wide range of mental health concerns.
We are looking for a professional who will align with Catalyst Physician Groups core values by keeping up to date on the latest counseling therapies / interventions to practice continual growth in counseling skills, provide access to care, have respect for all staff and patients, able to work with efficiency, and someone who is able to share knowledge by collaborating with staff and patients regarding care services.
RESPONSIBILITIES :
Ensure all services are completed according to relevant ethical and professional standards
Must have experience counseling adults and adolescent clients
Provide diagnosis based on observation, evaluation, and assessment
Develop and recommend treatment plans based on patient needs and diagnosis
Provide referrals for additional care, evaluation, or treatment
Collaborate with health care providers to provide the best care possible
Complete all necessary clinical documentation in accurate and timely manner
Provide crisis intervention and safety planning when needed
QUALIFICATIONS :
Master's degree in counseling with an emphasis in clinical mental health counseling or related field required
Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)- Fully licensed and active
5 years minimum experience practicing independently with an unencumbered Texas license (5 years experience NOT including internship preferred)
Experience in counseling teens and adolescents 13 years and older
Successful state and federal background check
Demonstrated ability to work with a diverse population
Strong working knowledge of evidence-based treatment and diagnostic techniques
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Demonstrated ability to operate within ethical and professional standards of care
