As a Technical Lead (Backend API), you will be leading a team to design, build, test and maintain trading applications for crypto / digital assets.

You will be working across the full stack with performance and latency considerations. You are a generalist working on both frontend, backend and external APIs.

You enjoy mentoring team members and take responsibility and ownership for the team's performance. You are enthusiastic about technology, a quick learner, and a team player.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement high performance trading APIs.
• Design, build and maintain data pipeline for trading analytics.
• Lead, mentor the team building APIs and analytics.
• Implement automated tests and work with QA teams to create test plans.
• Create design, test & deployment documents.
• Collaborate with teams in various regions and stakeholders.

Minimum Requirements

• Masters / Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science.
• Experience in one or more general purpose programming languages : Java / C++ / Golang.
• 6+ years of development including WebSockets & REST. Experience with Microservices is a plus.
• 2+ years of experience as a Technical Lead.
• Familiarity with best practices for API Development.
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

Desirable Skills

• Knowledge of Trading and FIX protocol.
• Experience with Order or Execution Management Systems.
