Description :

Nine-month, non-tenure-track appointment beginning August 1, 2024. Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in elementary / general music methods and additional undergraduate and graduate courses in areas of expertise.

Supervise graduate-level research. Coordinate field experience courses and supervise elementary and middle school music student teachers / interns.

Salary and fringe benefits are competitive and commensurate with rank and experience.

Qualifications : Required :

Required :

Doctorate or ABD in Music Education. Successful teaching experience in K-12 schools. Training / experience with the basic instructional methodologies of elementary / general music (e.

g., Orff, Kodaly, Dalcroze).

Preferred :

Successful teaching experience in higher education; expertise in multicultural music education, qualitative research, and / or music education technology.
