Per diem, must be available to work 2 shifts per week including weekends.
Pay-rate :
$77.00 for the first 8 hours
$115.50 for the last 4 hours
$1,078 / shift
Shifts : 8am-8 : 30pm or 8pm-8 : 30am
Job Description :
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of expectant mothers to monitor the progress of pregnancy and identify any potential complications.
- Provide hands-on care during labor and childbirth, assisting with pain management, monitoring vital signs, and supporting mothers emotionally.
- Utilize electronic fetal monitoring (EFM) and other technologies to track the baby's heart rate and uterine contractions during labor.
- Be prepared to initiate neonatal resuscitation measures if necessary and provide care to newborns in distress.
- Offer postpartum care to both mothers and newborns immediately after delivery, including assessing their condition, providing initial breastfeeding support, and monitoring for any complications.
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes
Requirements :
- CA RN License,
- BLS, Fire Card,
- AWHONN FHM cert,
- 1 yr inpatient experience,
- High Risk OB experience preferred
