SUMMARY :
Manages all production activities and resources according to established quality and performance standards in a CNC manufacturing environment.
Effective participation in creating and carrying out company policies, objectives, and programs for major functions. Directs and coordinates the work of subordinates to ensure productivity.
Actively promotes teamwork atmosphere and supports team development. Responsible for the training and safe working conditions of employees.

- Analyzes productivity and quality trends; develops plans and procedures to improve performance.
- Coordinates daily production with the Master Scheduler and Customer Service team to maximize output and customer satisfaction.
- Determines manpower requirements and resolves scheduling and capacity issues.
- Works with production scheduling & materials to maintain adequate material flow.
- Sets work schedules and determines overtime requirements for the workforce.
- Interfaces with support organization management.
- Champions ideas and drives culture towards continuous improvement.
- Implement measures to motivate employees, improve morale, and engage them in the day-to-day operations and goals of the business.
- Maintain and oversee 5S workplace standards.
- Conducts / supervises problem-solving meetings and ensures prompt follow-up / implementation of solutions.
- Carries out supervisory responsibilities following the Company’s policies and applicable laws, including interviewing, hiring, and training employees;
planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
- Liaise with the quality management team to ensure quality standards are met and engage a team in continuous improvement solutions.

REQUIREMENTS :
- Associate's degree in manufacturing, business or related field of study. Will consider work experience in place of educational requirements.
- 5-7 years of progressive experience in a manufacturing environment in a CNC machining environment.
- Possess good written / oral communication skills, and the ability to present his / her views clearly and compellingly across all levels of the organization.
- A believer and driver of continuous improvement activities that will deploy Lean methodology throughout the department.
- Proven ability to develop and implement strategic and tactical plans.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple and sometimes conflicting priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Working experience within a manufacturing facility that embraces and implements 5S methodologies.
- A demonstrated problem-analysis and problem-solving skills.
- A competitive spirit, with a can-do attitude and sense of urgency.
