With pulmonologists and a respiratory therapy program available, we offer comprehensive services for individuals with breathing disorders, chronic lung problems, and related conditions.

As a Clinical Practice Nurse 1, you will report to the Clinical Leader or Clinical Manager and deliver high-quality patient care, including assessment, treatment, planning, and evaluation.

Utilizing your knowledge of growth and development principles, you will assess clinical data to meet age-specific needs, engage in caring relationships with patients and families, collaborate with the healthcare team, and make sound judgments in nursing interventions.

Certification, Registration & LicensureLicensure required : New Hampshire Board of Nursing licenseCertification required : Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers certification or Red Cross CPR / AED for Professional Rescuers and Health Care ProvidersExperienceDemonstrated ability to effectively and positively interact with a multi-disciplinary staff, patients and others.

Responsibilities* Triages patient phone calls following established guidelines and prescribed format for collecting data andidentifying patient's health problems or concerns.

  • Documents relevant health information, interventions, and outcomes into the patient electronic medicalrecord.* Provides health education and teaching to patients in response to identified patient needs and to promote,attain and maintain the optimum health level of patients.
  • Administers prescribed medications according to five rights of medication administration.* Performs both physical and psychosocial assessments based on patient presentation and complaint ofproblem and plans nursing accordingly.
  • Completes practice and unit specific clinical skill competencies on an annual basis.* Performs other nursing services commensurate with LPN experience, education and demonstratedcompetencies.
