ABOUT THEROLE

• TheVirginia Department of Elections (ELECT) is seeking a ProjectManager for the implementation of the Statewide Voter RegistrationSystem (SVRS).
• SVRS is a statewidevoter registration and election management system.
• This is a highriskproject and will require strict adherence to the requirements inthis posting.
• It is preferred thatthe PM work a hybrid schedule with minimum of three days per weekin the ELECT offices in Richmond VA however this is open fordiscussion.
• SVRS is a highriskproject with high visibility and significant complexity thereforethe SVRS Project Manager will be required to work in a fastpacedpotentially stressful environment.
• Relevant experiencein similar environments should be clearly documented in theapplicantsresume.

SVRS iscurrently under contract and undergoing development. The duties ofthe SVRS Project Manager willinclude :

• Dailyinteraction with stakeholders project team members and ELECTstaff.
• Attendance at virtualand inperson project meetingsdaily.
• Management of projectperformance metrics and recording of data inCTP.
• Adhere torequirements of Commonwealth Project ManagementStandard.
• Coordination withSVRS contractor project management team for all aspects of projectperformance.
• Work in conjunctionwith members of the ELECT SVRS projectteam.
• Facilitatecommunication between SVRS contractor PM team and ELECTstaff.
• Oversee coordinationof SVRS projectcalendar.
• Conduct briefings onSVRS project status to internal and external audiences includingthe Interagency OversightCommittee.

The requirededucation and experience for this position are asfollows :

• ActiveProject Management Institute Project Management Professional (PMP)Certification. Please upload a copy in Vector or they will not beconsidered.
• Documented riskmanagementexperience.
• Successful completionof a Category 1 or 2 Commonwealth of Virginia project of $5M ormore or completion of a nonCOV project with a value greater than$10M as PM of record.

• Bachelors degree isappropriate field of study or equivalent workexperience.
