Joe DiMaggio Childrenâ€s Hospitalâ€s Department of Pediatric Otolaryngology †Head & Neck Surgery is seeking a motivated and dynamic Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join its growing team.
The Department of Pediatric Otolaryngology is comprised of compassionate physicians and advanced practice providers that treat general and complex pediatric otolaryngology pathologies.
Our ENT specialists are trained and experienced in treating infections, trauma, and congenital conditions. The selected candidate will primarily be responsible for covering inpatient services.
Once trained, the provider will lead inpatient rounding, receive consults, respond to airway emergencies, assist in the OR and support readiness for discharges including patient education.
Opportunities for cross-training to cover outpatient and subspecialty clinics will also be available. Candidates must have a National Pediatric Acute Care Nurse Practitioner Certification or must have a Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies (or Masterâ€s equivalent) from an ARC-PA accredited program and possess a Physician Assistant Certification.
A BLS, ACLS, and PALS from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross and a Florida license must be obtained by date of hire.
Schedule requirements are Monday thru Friday, with rotating call, weekend, and holiday coverage. This is a full-time employed position that offers competitive benefits and a compensation package that is commensurate with training and experience.
