Key ResponsibilitiesLead Bottom-Up Reviews (BURs) to align costs with program objectives and prioritiesManage long-term budget planning by collecting and analyzing five to ten-year budget plansServe as a liaison between the Management and Budget Office and Deputy Assistant Administrators' OfficesRequired QualificationsBachelor's degree plus 8 or more years of relevant experience;
Master's degree can substitute for 2 years of experienceExperience in program analysis, budget planning, or budget formulation at a Federal Agency is preferredFamiliarity with the federal budget cycle or accounting systems is a plusExperience handling a large portfolio of programs and projectsKnowledge of NOAA budget processes and National Ocean Service (NOS) programs is advantageous
