Senior Java Developer

Location : Newport Beach, California

Compensation Range : $135,000 - 145,000 per year

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Java Developer to lead our client's team of developers in designing, developing, and maintaining Java applications in the identity and access management domain.

As a Senior Java Developer, you will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality software solutions while fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the team.

Responsibilities :

• Lead a team of developers in designing, developing, and maintaining Java applications within the identity and access management domain.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices and coding standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to coding standards.
• Mentor and guide junior developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure applications remain current and competitive.

Qualifications :

• Experience level : Experienced
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in Java development.
• Strong understanding of identity and access management concepts, including OAuth, JWT, and other authentication / authorization protocols.
• Proficiency in Java and related frameworks (, Spring, Hibernate).
• Experience with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
• Solid understanding of software development principles, including object-oriented design, data structures, and algorithms.
• Experience with version control systems (, Git).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and manage multiple priorities.
