Job Description
The Plant Human Resources Manager will be accountable for delivering human resources leadership for a manufacturing facility.
This hands-on position is responsible for driving the implementation of HR processes and initiatives and promoting a results oriented and performance driven culture.
The Plant Human Resources Manager should have :
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for leading union relationships
- Experience with data management
- Ability to manage the discipline process
- Expertise coaching and counseling employees
- Experience supervising payroll
- A service-oriented approach to working with others
The Plant Human Resources Manager will :
- Manage labor relations (including involvement in union meetings, grievances, and negotiations)
- Drive Talent Management processes
- Conduct employee investigations
- Manage and maintain adequate staffing levels for the plant
Qualifications
- Bachelor degree required
- At least 5 years of professional HR experience in a 24 / 7 manufacturing environment
- Experience in a union environment
- Bilingual (English / Spanish) is preferred, but not required
- Experience with California Labor Laws is preferred

Salary Range : The expected salary range for this position is between $100,000 - $130,000 and includes a possible 12% quarterly incentive bonus.
Actual pay will be adjusted based upon candidate experience and other job-related factors permitted by law.
