As a Cloud Platform Engineer, you will play a crucial role in supporting our cloud infrastructure applications. We're seeking an experienced technical professional to embrace and expand our existing Multi-Cloud Infrastructure, leveraging Terraform Cloud for management.
In this position, you'll lead projects using Agile / Scrum methodologies, collaborating closely with internal stakeholders to maintain and continuously enhance our cloud architecture, operations, and support model.
Your expertise will be instrumental in driving innovation, ensuring scalability, and optimizing our cloud ecosystem to support global operations and maintain our position as an industry leader in footwear and apparel.
Job Responsibilities
- Architect and optimize multi-cloud infrastructure using Terraform Cloud, AWS, GCP, and Oracle Cloud, ensuring scalability, security, and cost-effectiveness.
- Design and implement robust network solutions using CloudWAN, integrating seamlessly across global cloud infrastructure.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive IAM strategies across all cloud platforms, ensuring secure and efficient access management.
- Lead FinOps initiatives to optimize cloud spending, implementing cost control measures and providing regular financial analysis of cloud operations.
- Conduct POCs and feasibility studies on emerging cloud technologies, leveraging results to guide strategic decisions and future architecture.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align cloud solutions with business objectives, facilitating technology discussions and decision-making processes.
- Enforce and evolve architectural standards, governance policies, and best practices across all cloud platforms, ensuring compliance and operational excellence.
- Develop and execute a strategic roadmap for IaaS and PaaS adoption, driving digital transformation and maximizing cloud capabilities across the organization.
- Stay current with the latest advancements in cloud technologies, evaluating their potential impact and application within the company's infrastructure.
- Mentor junior team members and contribute to building a culture of cloud excellence and innovation within the organization.
Job Requirements
- 4+ years of experience supporting mission-critical infrastructure services in large-scale organizations
- 4+ years of experience deploying and managing multi-cloud infrastructures (AWS, GCP, Oracle Cloud)Expertise in architecting secure cloud solutions.
- Advanced expertise in Terraform Cloud for infrastructure as code (IaC) management
- Experience building High Availability / Fault Tolerant Systems.
- NICE TO HAVE experience with CloudWAN and software-defined networking in cloud environments
- Strong background in IAM across multiple cloud platforms, with emphasis on AWS IAM security models
- Demonstrated expertise in FinOps practices and cloud cost optimization strategies.
- Extensive experience architecting and implementing high availability and fault-tolerant systems.
- Hands-on experience with serverless architectures and AWS Lambda
- Strong knowledge of NoSQL databases (DynamoDB, MongoDB) and caching solutions (Elasticache)
- Experience with message queuing and streaming services (SQS, SNS, Kafka)
- Proficiency in both Windows and Linux operating systems
- Proven track record in DevOps practices, including CI / CD pipelines and infrastructure automation
- Deep understanding of cloud security best practices and compliance frameworks
- Excellent troubleshooting and technical problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills and experience collaborating with cross-functional teams

- Advanced proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, and PowerShell
- Expertise in version control systems, particularly Git, and CI / CD pipelines
- Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools, especially Terraform and CloudFormation
- Proficiency in at least one configuration management tool (Ansible, Chef, or Puppet)
- Familiarity with containerization technologies and orchestration platforms (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Knowledge of modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., Angular, React) and RESTful API design

- Solid understanding of networking protocols and web standards (TCP / IP, HTTP, DNS, DHCP)

- Excellent technical writing skills for documentation of architecture, strategies, and engineering processes

- Familiarity with microservices architecture and design patterns
- Understanding of DevSecOps principles and practices
