Minimum 1+ years Behavior Specialist experience required.
Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing experienced Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBA) for a Full Timerole with school districts in the area.
Responsibilities :
- Develop and implement behavior intervention plans (BIPs) for students with autism and other developmental disabilities.
- Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBAs) to identify the causes of challenging behaviors.
- Provide direct and indirect supervision to Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) and other support staff.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school personnel to create individualized education programs (IEPs).
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of behavior intervention plans, making adjustments as needed.
- Conduct training sessions and workshops for staff and parents on behavior management techniques.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of assessments, interventions, and progress.
Requirements :
- Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification.
- Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or a related field.
- Knowledge of local and state regulations and requirements for providing behavior analysis services in schools.
- Experience working in educational settings, preferably with children with special needs.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
