JOB SUMMARY :
Assemblers follow operative guidelines to build a product for a company based on blueprints and instructions. Their duties include checking that items are fully assembled, ensuring that safety protocols are followed, and troubleshooting any issues found during production.

- Building products on the assembly line according to drawings, instructions, or schematics.
- Following established safety and efficiency procedures to ensure that operations run smoothly.
- Inspecting assembled products for any faults or defects.
- Stopping and / or halting production if machinery fails or a major defect is detected.
- Reporting incidents, faulty operations, or product imperfections to management.
- Meeting production targets.
- Maintaining a clean workstation and production floor.
- Assembling products and parts.
- Following production guidelines and specifications.
- Operating and maintaining machinery and equipment.
- Verifying dimensions and product specifications.
- Ensuring that all the required parts for assembly are present.
- Ensuring that all parts are properly fitted, aligned and screwed in.
- Reporting and detailing product malfunctions.
- Adhering to assembly safety standards.
- Performs other duties of a similar nature and level as assigned.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE :
A High School diploma or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to
successfully perform the essential duties of the job such as those listed above.
- Knowledgeable in manufacturing safety protocols and regulations.
- At least 2+ years of experience working in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
- Able to use and understand measurements and using tape measurement tools is preferred.
LICENSING / CERTIFICATIONS :
None
KNOWLEDGE :
- Microsoft Office Suite (Excel Spreadsheets, Word Document, etc.) preferred.
- Mechanical Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance.
- English Language-Knowledge of the structure and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition and grammar.
