Housekeeper Special Projects

Position is in the Operating room as an orderly at Tucson Surgery Center 2121 N. Craycroft Rd. Bldg. 8.

Monday through Friday; no weekends or holidays!

Summary :

Cleans and maintains buildings / facilities. May be expected to make basic repairs. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.

Works under immediate supervision. Primary job functions do not typically require exercising independent judgment. Typically reports to a supervisor / manager.

High school diploma or equivalent with at least 2 years previous experience required. Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.

Position Qualifications / Minimum Requirements

Education :

Preferred : High School diploma / GED preferred or equivalent experience

Experience :

Preferred : Previous housekeeping experience (routine / project cleaning), preferable in healthcare.

Skills :

Ability to multi-task in a high volume environment; Attention to detail and policy with concern for patient safety and quality outcomes;

Effective communication skills across multiple stakeholders, including patients, caregivers, visitors and administrators.

Licenses / Certifications :

For Skilled Nursing Unit : Fingerprint Clearance Card
