New Nurse Residency Program
Overview
We are offering a New Nurse Residency Program for Registered Nurses (RN) - New Graduates. This program includes a $15,000 sign-on bonus and opportunities to work on various units.
The program provides a one-year Nurse Residency Program to support and guide new graduates into becoming professional nurses.
Through a carefully planned combination of on-the-job and classroom education, this program aims to build relationships with other new RNs, work collaboratively on patient care projects, and offer strong foundational learning through monthly residency sessions.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Current registration or eligibility for licensure
- Training in unit-specific competencies
- Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing
Responsibilities
- Clinical Judgement - Utilize clinical reasoning, critical thinking, and nursing skills to assess patient needs and anticipate potential problems
- Caring Practices - Create a compassionate and supportive environment for patients and their families, promote safety, and monitor patient and family changes
