PrideStaff Greenville is seeking a reliable and knowledgeable Extrusion Operator on behalf of our client in Travelers Rest, SC to become an integral part of their team! This person will lift up to 50lbs and keep hoppers filled for injection molding and assembly machinery replenished.
Extrusion Operator Key Responsibilities :
- Review work orders to ensure orders are filled according to client’s request
- Examine machines for defects or broken parts; make sure the machinery is running properly
- Assist colleagues in changing out raw material supplies efficiently
- Load hopper and ensure parts are being fed into the machine on a regular basis
- Learn to recognize defective molded parts
- Inspect finished parts and remove defects from the line
- Package finished products and prepare them for shipment
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow safe work practices at all times Extrusion Operator Minimum Requirements :
- Ability to read and interpret general documents, such as work instructions or procedure manuals
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational abilities
- General mechanical and mathematical aptitude
- Ability to frequently lift up to 50 pounds
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
- Must have basic computer skills
- Must be able to work in safe manner and follow safety rules
