We are seeking a full-time Credentialed Medical Assistant to join our clinic located in SW Portland next to Providence St.

Vincent Medical Center off of Barnes Road. You will work with exceptional physicians who value their team and working together to help our patients get the best possible care.

Our busy practice receives a high volume of patient appointments and calls, and we are searching for a personable and dependable candidate that is a self-starter, with a positive attitude, who can work independently, and has a customer-focused work ethic.

The ideal candidate will be organized and detail-oriented, strong at multitasking, and dedicated to high quality patient care.

Prioritizing and critical thinking skills are needed, as well as excellent communication and customer service.

Primary duties include telephone triage, scheduling, rooming / vitals / EMR entry, giving patient instructions, review of records, and other duties as needed.

Potential workdays will be Monday-Friday, 7 : 00am-5 : 30pm with Tuesday's off.

Hiring pay based on open position, experience, and credentials :

Level I - $21.66- $29.30 per hour.

Level II - $23.82 - $32.23 per hour.

Level III - $26.21 - $35.46 per hour.

Placement within levels based on specialty group, experience, additional duties.

Medical, Vision, and Rx Insurance is 100% paid for by The Oregon Clinic for full-time employees.

Qualifications :

  • Must be a Credentialed Medical Assistant (AAMA, NCCT or similar are acceptable)
  • Minimum of 1-year clinical experience in a healthcare setting.
  • Internal Medicine or GI experience preferred
  • Prior scheduling experience strongly preferred
  • Ability to work independently or in a team setting
  • Strong commitment to patient care and privacy guidelines
