Key Responsibilities

The Roofing Service Technician Assistant is responsible for assisting in locating leaks and performing professional quality roof repairs in a safe and timely manner, while treating customers and fellow employees with courtesy and respect.

Job duties also include the completion of defined scope projects and preventative maintenance activities.

• Responsible for assisting in the operation and maintenance of all company issued equipment such as : vehicles, power tools, phones, hand tools, etc.
• Maintain trucks to ensure they are always stocked and cleaned inside and out
• Utilize industry standard manufacturer approved repair techniques
• Complete daily assignments in a timely manner with completion of proper paperwork
• Performs all other duties as assigned

Education, Experience, and Skills Required

Education

High School Diploma or GED preferred, not required

Experience

2 years commercial roofing service technician experience preferred

Skills and Abilities

• Ability to withstand demands of extreme weather conditions and high temperatures
• Comfortable climbing ladders up to 60 ft tall
• Ability to lift 50 lbs or more
• Capable of bending over most of the day and working on knees excessively throughout the day
• Able to pass Pre-Employment Drug and Agility screening
• Able to pass a government background check per project requirements
• Valid driver's license and insurable driving record
• Knowledge of basic roofing tools
• Strong verbal and written communication skills

Working Conditions Environment Special Requirements

• Full time onsite
• Ability to work in a safe professional manner adhering to all regulatory requirements including, OSHA, State and Federal regulations.
