Here at gpac we are working with a financial institution that is looking for a Banking Portfolio Manager to join their growing team.
As a portfolio manager, your main responsibility will be to oversee and manage a portfolio of banking clients, ensuring their satisfaction and profitability.
You will act as a key point of contact for clients, providing expert advice on their portfolios and addressing their financial needs.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in banking and finance, with experience in portfolio management. You should be detail-oriented, analytical, and have exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients and develop strong relationships with key stakeholders.
Responsibilities :
- Manage a portfolio of banking clients, ensuring their satisfaction and profitability
- Provide expert advice on financial strategies and investment opportunities to clients
- Conduct regular portfolio reviews and analysis to assess performance and make recommendations for adjustments
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify and pursue cross-selling opportunities
- Stay up to date with industry trends and changes in regulations that may impact client portfolios
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as their trusted advisor
- Monitor and manage risk within client portfolios
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in finance, business, or a related field
- At least 5 years of experience in portfolio management within the banking industry
- Solid understanding of financial markets, products, and investment strategies
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients
- Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
