The Industrial Regional Sales Manager is a water treatment sales position focused on growing the Industrial business and driving Trojan's market position within a defined territory and implementing sales strategies to increase market share.

Sales managers must ensure sustainable, targeted growth by actively engaging channel partners and demonstrating in-depth knowledge of water treatment.

This position is part of the Sales department and will be remote.

In this role, a typical day will look like :

  • Increase sales and profits by meeting assigned targets for profitable sales volume and margin in the assigned territory by managing existing and developing new customers, Channel Partners, and Consultants.
  • Ensure achievement of the monthly, quarterly, and annual sales plans by executing organizational best practices, including managing opportunity / sales funnel through Trojan Technologies' customer relationship management (CRM) solution;

and meeting or exceeding new customer & funnel growth targets.

  • Participate in sales activities including customer site visits, telephone contacts, trade seminars and shows, product demonstrations / evaluations, customer seminars, and channel management.
  • Ability to travel within the region for significant portions of each fiscal year (could be over 50% of the time)
  • This role will cover the entire West Coast, in the US and in Canada.

The essential requirements of the job include :

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Science is required
  • 5+ years of sales or channel management experience
  • Industry knowledge specific to water treatment and applications
  • High energy performer who operates as part of a team and whose enthusiasm inspires and motivates teams, peers, and customers
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Problem-solving mentality with a can-do attitude

It would be a plus if you also have previous experience with :

  • Working for a UV manufacturer
  • A channel partner supplying UV and other water treatment equipment for industrial markets
  • A water treatment integrator in North America

The below range reflects the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range.

This range may be modified in the future. An associate's position within the salary range will be based on several factors, including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs.

The compensation range for this role is $95,000 - $120,000 USD per year. This job is also eligible for Commission Pay.

We offer a comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, medical / dental / vision insurance and 401(k) to eligible employees.
