As a Supervisory Records and Information Management Specialist , you will be responsible for the daily operations and oversight of records management, application intake, mail receipting and sorting, correspondence and FOIA requests, data analysis, and process improvement functions at the Asylum Vetting Center.

The qualifications for this position must be met by 11 : 59 PM (Eastern Time) on 10 / 21 / 2024.

Current Federal employees must have served 52 weeks at the lower grade or equivalent grade band in the Federal service. The Time-in-Grade requirement must be met by 11 : 59 PM (Eastern Time) on 10 / 21 / 2024 .

GS-14 : You qualify at the GS-14 level if you possess one (1) year of specialized experience, which is equivalent to at least the GS-13 level in the federal government, that equipped you with the skills needed to successfully perform the duties of the position.

You must have experience performing the following duties :

  • Overseeing personnel responsible for supporting records and information management programs and ensuring compliance with the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) regulations and policies;
  • Developing process improvements for traditional records management methods and procedures in order to improve the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the records and information management program;
  • Overseeing project and data management services and supporting the development, enhancement, and implementation of projects to achieve strategic / operational goals.
