We are seeking a talented and motivated Structural Engineer to join our design / build construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing temporary structures used in the construction and demolition of buildings, as well as creating construction procedures.

Responsibilities and Essential Duties

Perform structural engineering design of temporary structures such as shoring, falsework, crane foundations, etc.
Create construction procedures including erection plans, demolition plans, and more.

Education / Experience

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, MS in Structural is a plus.
At least 8 years of engineering & design experience.
North Carolina Professional Engineer (PE) certification is required. Structural Engineer (SE) certification is preferred.
Experience designing structures based on IBC, ASCE, ACI, AISC, AWC, and AISI codes.
Expertise in analyzing and designing various materials such as reinforced concrete, steel, timber, masonry, and foundations.
Proficiency in drawing software such as Revit, MicroStation, and Autocad.
Willingness to travel occasionally as needed
