What You’ll Do As a Technical Recruiter specializing in temp / contract placements, you will focus on connecting qualified tech professionals with short-term assignments and contract roles.
Your goal is to hit key placement targets and grow Shtudy’s business within the Washington D.C., Maryland, and Virginia region.
You will start with a commission-based structure and transition to a salary + commission model once specific performance goals are achieved.
This role is 100% remote, however, you may be required to attend local events and meet with current and potential clients upon request.
Key Responsibilities Candidate Recruitment & Placement : Source, screen, and place top-tier technical professionals into temporary and contract roles.
You will be expected to fill 15-20 assignments / contracts within your first three months. Business Development : Build and expand your client base by securing new job orders and bringing in at least one exclusive client through business development or referrals.
Full-Cycle Contract Recruitment : Manage the complete recruitment lifecycle from identifying client needs to candidate placement and contract negotiations.
180 Recruitment Focus : After securing your first exclusive client, you’ll shift to a 180 recruitment model, where you focus exclusively on placements, working with the exclusive and non-exclusive clients to fulfill their hiring needs.
Client Relationship Management : Serve as a trusted partner to hiring managers, providing strategic guidance and delivering qualified candidates for immediate and future needs.
Pipeline Management : Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of candidates and clients, ensuring rapid response to open requisitions.
Requirements Minimum 3+ years of experience in temp / contract technical recruiting, ideally in an agency or headhunter capacity.
Proven success in placing technical talent in temp or contract roles, with a strong network of candidates and potential clients in the Washington D.
C., Maryland, and Virginia areas. Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed targets in a fast-paced, commission-driven environment.
Strong communication, negotiation, and client development skills. Ability to thrive in a goal-oriented, remote work environment.
Compensation Commission : Begin with a commission of 30% of placement fees per assignment filled. Salary : Once you achieve 15-20 placements and secure 1 exclusive client within your first three months, you will transition to a tier-based salary + commission structure.
