About The Position
Job Title : Registered Nurse Job Specialty : NICU Job Duration : 13 Weeks Shift : 12-Hour Nights (7 : 00 PM - 7 : 30 AM) Guaranteed Hours : Not specified Experience : Previous Travel Experience Required License : Registered Nurse License Certifications : BLS, NRP Must-Have : Cerner or EPIC Experience Job Description : Provide comprehensive care in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.
- Handle top diagnoses and procedures, including : - Respiratory Distress - Transient Tachypnea of the Newborn - Prematurity - Hyperbilirubinemia - Rule Out Sepsis - Failed CCHD Screen - Intrauterine Drug Exposure- Perform special procedures such as : - Umbilical Lines - PICC Lines - Intubation / Surfactant Administration - CPAP, NIPPV - Conventional Ventilation - High-Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC)- Administer common medications such as D10, TPN, Lipids, Ampicillin, Gentamicin, with occasional use of Dopamine / Dobutamine.
- Wear specified navy blue scrubs while on duty.This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic and challenging environment with a focus on neonatal care.
Ideal candidates will have a strong background in NICU nursing and the ability to handle high-pressure situations with professionalism and empathy.
