Urgent Care LPN
Pay Rate : $35.00 / hr
Urgent Care LPN Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Urgent Care LPN to join our team. This role is designed for a licensed nurse looking to provide essential healthcare services in an urgent care clinic setting.
Urgent Care LPN Key Responsibilities
- Administer vaccinations and injections, including influenza, COVID, and TB test placements.
- Obtain vital signs and provide emergency care in collaboration with on-site providers.
- Perform patient registration, intake, and checkout processes.
- Assist with wait room management, appointment scheduling, and patient outreach calls.
- Prepare the clinic and waiting areas to enhance the patient experience.
- Document patient interactions and procedures accurately in the Electronic Medical Record.
Urgent Care LPN Required Qualifications
- Minimum one year of related work experience in a healthcare setting.
- Experience administering immunizations and providing patient vaccine education.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Ability to take vital signs and document in an Electronic Medical Record.
- Full, active, and unrestricted LPN license in the state of Minnesota.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
Urgent Care LPN Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in Primary Care, Urgent Care, or Emergency Room settings.
- Familiarity with EPIC Electronic Medical Record.
Urgent Care LPN Position Details
- This is a contingent full-time position starting at 30 hours per week, with the possibility of up to 40 hours.
- Requires floating to other nearby locations and working alternating weekends.
