Are you a licensed speech language pathologist (SLP) in the State of Washington?
Soliant is searching for a passionate Speech Language Pathologist to get on board with our team and work in a full-time school-based position for the uping school year.
Your Responsibilities :
- Prevent, assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, munication, cognitive-munication, social, and swallowing disorders in students.
- Evaluate the munication skills of program-referred students and diagnose speech and / or language disorders.
- Schedule students appropriately and provide consultative services to teachers, parents, admins, and allied agencies to integrate educational goals into the classroom, other educational programs, and the home environment.
- Assure the placement of students in the Speech-Language Pathologist program and support SLP objectives on IEPs.
- Participate in and / or conduct individualized education plans (IEPs) staffing to discover and relate pertinent data used in the determination of student needs.
- Attend required meetings and conferences as needed.
- Perform evaluations on program-referred students and make treatment remendations.
- The ability to work with diverse students ranging in age, demographic, and disability.
Requirements :
Must have an Active State of Washington Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) License
Preferred :
Prior experience working as an SLP with students in a school-based setting.
Job Type : Full-Time (37.5 hours / week)
Work Location : On-Site
Base pensation : highly petitive rate, based on experience.
