FUNCTION : This position works within a team of Business Managers, assisting in sales target and planning, channel development, and market analysis.
This position provides market information (including competitive) to the sales and marketing departments as well as to the Senior Leadership team.
This position also oversees all budgets, including expense and revenue forecasting.
GOAL : This position is designed to be a point of contact for Business Managers for questions, problem solving and sales analysis support.
- Work with team in developing and implementing sales strategies to drive revenue growth in the tractor operations sector.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive insights.
- Create sales plans, set targets, and define sales territories to optimize market coverage.
- Streamline sales processes and operations to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
- Builds and maintains strong relationships with Business Managers and key partners.
- Analyzes sales data to make informed decisions and recommend adjusted strategies as needed.
- Provides oversight to the sales operations budget, including expense and revenue forecasting.
- Generates regular reports and presents sales performance metrics to Senior Leadership.
- Collaborates with internal departments (marketing, product development, logistics, finance, and operations) to ensure alignment with overall company goals.
- Ensures sales compliance with relevant industry regulations and standards
- Identifies and implements innovative technologies and / or approaches to improve sales processes and customer engagement.
REQUIREMENTS :
- Sales, marketing, and product knowledge / experience in farm equipment, heavy equipment, outdoor power or related field is required.
- Advanced analytical and reporting knowledge / experience in farm equipment, heavy equipment, outdoor power or related field
- Ability to read, write, and speak the English language is required.
- Minimum 4-6 years of Customer Sales and Service experience in the related industry
- Skilled at problem resolution.
- Solid understanding of Business Accounting and Systems to analyze issues with daily sales transactions
- Experience in sales process improvement and root-cause analysis.
- Ability to coordinate training programs for new and current process instruction.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite programs with advanced presentation skills
Experience in the following elements desired :
- Knowledge of SAP system required
- Bachelors degree in Business or Marketing
- Ability to read and understand blueprints, technical manuals, parts manuals, etc.
- Management or team leader experience
Local Houston, TX candidates will be preferred.
