What does a Cook at Sagora do?

  • Cook à la carte items
  • Monitor stock
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of equipment, food storage, and work areas
  • Assist with training of all Culinary team members
  • Follow established methods of meal preparation and presentation
  • Serve meals to residents promptly and in friendly and courteous manner

What do you need to be a Cook?

  • One or more years of experience in a commercial kitchen preferred
  • Must possess ServSafe Certification and Food Handler’s permit as regulated by state and local authorities.
  • Must have skills in preparing specialized dishes for specific diets
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and able to communicate effectively with residents, families, and other team members
