Salary : $18.75-21.76+ / hour BOE

Carondelet Village is seeking Full time and Part Time Caregiver ( Resident Assistant / CNA / HHA / Nursing Assistant / Home Health Aide ) to join our Care Center or Assisted Living Team team.

Shifts may include : Care Center :

Care Center :

AM : 6 : 30am-2 : 30pm

PM : 2 : 30pm-10 : 30pm and occasional short shifts

NOC : 10 : 30pm-6 : 30am

Located next to the campus of St. Catherine University, Carondelet Village offers an array of amenities and conveniences and connections to St.

Paul's Highland Park area. Many restaurants and shopping areas are conveniently nearby for residents and employees to enjoy.

The Carondelet community consists of assisted living, memory care and long-term care offered in partnership between the Sisters of St.

Joseph and Presbyterian Homes & Services.

Responsibilities

• Perform ADL’s as scheduled and assist other Resident Assistants as needed while maintaining consistency with regulations and established best practices.
• Monitor changes in Resident’s condition
• Transferring and assisting residents with mobility using various methods (gait belt, mechanical lifts,
• Ensure residents are cared for with dignity.

Qualifications

• Caregiving experience preferred but applicants without experience will still be considered.
• To work in Long Term Care , Nursing Assistant Certification is required. Assisted Living does not require any certifications.
• Demonstrated compatibility with the PHS mission and operating philosophies.
• Commitment to work every other weekend and scheduled holidays.
• Demonstrated ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language to communicate with all customers.
