Rogers Behavioral Health is seeking a licensed mental health counselor to provide therapeutic treatment services to patients and their families in an acute care setting.
This role offers retention bonuses of up to $4,000 for fully licensed counselors. The counselor will work with adults or children / adolescents, and will have the opportunity to participate in site committees and develop leadership skills.
Schedule : Monday-Friday, no holidays, no on-call opportunities are available
Different Shifts Available :
- 8am - 4 : 30pm
- 10am - 6 : 30pm
Job Duties & Responsibilities :
- Provide therapeutic treatment services to individuals, groups, and families
- Participate in psychoeducational support sessions with patients and families
- Document patient progress, treatment status, and discharge summaries
Additional Job Description :
- Master's Degree in Social Work or related field is required
- American Red Cross Professional Rescue certification is required within 30 days of hire
- Formal training in the management of the aggressive patient is required within 60 days of hire
