LSSI has an immediate need for an Interoperability Subject Matter Expert (SME) to support the Software Mission Assurance (Patriot IV&V) program at Redstone Arsenal / Huntsville, AL.
Job Description :
- Candidate must have a strong understanding of Military Standard 6016 and ability to learn Military Standards 3011 and 6020.
- Candidate will be responsible for assisting with the development of interoperability software improvements.
- Candidate must have the ability and willingness to conduct detailed Link 16 data analysis in support of various live, exercise and test venues.
- Candidate must have ability to learn Patriot Link 16 implementation with little or no training.
- Candidate will work with government and prime contractor teams to assess system interoperability software improvements and develop testing strategies for interoperability software changes.
- Candidate must have ability to accept tasks and work independently to achieve completion of tasks.
- Candidate must be able to travel both CONUS and OCONUS as required.
Requirements
Required Education / Experience :
- Degree preferred. Experience can be substituted for Degree.
- 5 years' experience with Tactical Data Link (TDL) 16 Message Standard.
Required Skills :
- Strong understanding of MIL-STD 6016.
- Ability to analyze TDL 16 message data.
- Ability to review interoperability software requirement changes.
- Ability to develop interoperability test plans.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Desired Skills :
- Strong Understanding of Patriot Link 16 implementation.
- Ability to develop and train others
- Experience with MIL-STDs 3011 and 6020.
- Experience with Link 16 data collection and analysis tools, e.g. NSITE and IES
