Colorectal Surgery & Urology : This unit provides post-surgical care for colorectal and urologic surgery patients in a 22-room setting.
Procedures performed on unit : Chest tube insertion, central lines, wound vac changes, NG, Cortrak, catheter, indwelling catheters.
Responsibilities : Administer medications, perform treatments, assess patient needs, collaborate on patient care plans.
Minimum Qualifications : Graduate of a nursing program, current NYS RN license, BLS / ACLS / PALS / TNCC certification.
