The Position

Our client is seeking to fill a Bank Financial Adviser role in the greater Raleigh, NC market. The successful candidate will be joining a team of seasoned investment professionals managing investment advisory services, utilizing sophisticated market strategies and top quality research.

You may also be working with highly experienced private bankers and talented, credentialed trust and wealth planning professionals servicing high net worth clients.

The position includes a generous compensation which includes a base salary of $36K plus a generous commission plan and potent internal referral program.

You will also receive a company provided laptop and cell phone plus a private banking office.

The Bank Financial Advisor responsibilities include :

  • Identifying and developing new opportunities to deliver advice and solutions to existing clients.
  • Developing new Wealth Management prospects through referrals from centers of influence in the community, other bank businesses, and introductions from existing clients.
  • Working with Wealth Management team members to expand existing client relationships.
  • Serving as the primary contact for select high net worth clients.
  • Frequently interacting with clients and actively coordinating strategies with team members.
  • Lead the client relationship team to expand existing client relationships, improve client satisfaction, strengthen client commitment, ensure client retention and grow revenue.
  • Meeting regularly with your assigned branch staffs, within your assigned market, to develop their referral skills and update their understanding of Wealth Management and the financial services industry trends, new developments, and new strategies.
  • Building referral relationships with other bank businesses, professional and community contacts and existing clients to provide introductions of high net worth prospects to the bank’s Wealth Management group.

You also bring the following skills and experience :

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance or Economics required.
  • CFP preferred.
  • Four of more years’ sales and advisory experience in the securities brokerage, advisory, and insurance financial services fields.
  • Must hold, in good standing, FINRA Series 6, 63, and 65 or 66 licenses.
  • Must hold NC Life, Health, Long Term Care, and Medicare Supplement licenses.
  • Knowledge of investment management strategy, process and products, trust solutions, general products.
  • Demonstrate high level of expertise in sales, networking, negotiation, relationship building.
  • Excellent communication, presentation and relationship-building skills.
  • Possess proficient interpersonal communication, writing and group presentation skills.
