Job Overview :
We are seeking an experienced Staff Accountant with about two years of experience to join our growing team. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with the Senior Tax Accountant and Tax Manager, providing a solid foundation for professional growth within the company.
Responsibilities :
- Assist in the preparation and review of financial statements and reports
- Support tax return preparation and filing
- Perform general ledger accounting and account reconciliations
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes
- Collaborate with senior accountants and management on various accounting projects
- Ensure compliance with accounting principles and company policies
- Provide support during audits and assist in resolving discrepancies
Requirements :
- Approximately 2 years of experience in accounting, must be in a public accounting firm
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Basic understanding of GAAP and tax regulations
- Experience with accounting software and MS Office (especially Excel)
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Must be within a 1-hour commute to Glendale, CA
