General Duties
Under the direction of the Director of Pharmacy or designee, the Pharmacy Technician is responsible for assisting the pharmacist in the prescription filing process.
Communicates with patients and staff in an appropriate, professional manner, whether in-person or on the telephone. Generates prescription labels and fills the medication in accordance to the State Board of Pharmacy regulations.
Education
High School Diploma or Equivalent.
Minimum Qualifications
Must have valid certification from Pharmacy Technician Certification Board.
One year related experience preferred but not required.
Technical Skills
PC skills, adequate typing skills and good interpersonal skills a must.
