Responsibilities
Diagnosing Vehicle Issues : Accurately diagnose and troubleshoot issues affecting vehicle performance and safety.
Performing Repairs : Execute repairs on various vehicle systems, including brakes, engines, and electrical systems, ensuring quality workmanship.
Maintaining Records : Keep detailed records of all repairs and maintenance performed, documenting work outcomes and parts used.
Customer Interaction : Communicate effectively with customers to explain repair needs and provide clear estimates on costs and timelines.
Continuous Learning : Stay updated with the latest automotive technologies and repair techniques through training and workshops.
Team Collaboration : Work effectively with fellow technicians and service staff to ensure smooth operations within the service department.
Requirements
Experience : Proven experience as a Service Technician or in a similar role.Education : High school diploma or equivalent;
completion of an automotive service technology program is preferred.Certifications : ASE certification or equivalent is a plus.
Skills : Strong analytical skills with attention to detail, proficiency in using diagnostic equipment, and a solid understanding of automotive systems.
Interpersonal Skills : Excellent communication and customer service skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.
Work Ethic : Self-motivated, reliable, and capable of working independently as well as part of a team.
