About The Position
Weekly Pay Range - $2460 To $2733 Job Title : Nuclear Medicine Technologist Job Specialty : Radiology / Cardiology - Nuclear Medicine Job Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Day 5x8-Hour (07 : 30 - 16 : 00), Monday - Friday Guaranteed Hours : Not specified Experience : 1 year required, 2 years preferred License : CA CRT Licensure, CA Venipuncture licensure Certifications : BLS (AHA) Must-Have : - Valid state license - All certifications must be from AHA and in hand- 50 miles travel requirement;
locals accepted at a local rate- Epic experience preferred- Background policy information required prior to submission- Returned staff must have been gone 1 year to return as a traveler Job Description : Perform routine and specialized computerized tomography procedures.
- Produce quality images for diagnosis, treatment, monitoring, and prevention of injury or disease.- Work independently, using sound judgment and developed clinical skills.
- Execute safe and precise procedures for accurate results delivered in a timely manner.- Gain confidence and cooperation from patients, their family / support group, and other healthcare providers.
- Competently assess patients, provide attentive monitoring, and effectively communicate.- Adhere to all local, state, and federal regulations, codes, policies, and procedures.
- Ensure privacy and safety while delivering optimal patient care.- May be responsible for performing specific procedures and / or assisting in orienting other staff to the department.
Additional Information : No on-call or weekend requirements. Orientation is 16 hours. COVID-19 and Flu Vaccine status unknown.
