Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Position Overview :
Join our team as a Behavior Technician and be part of a compassionate community. Your role may evolve, but your primary focus will be to implement Behavior Analysis Support Plans (BASP) precisely as instructed.
Your Day at Brightside :
- Implement BASPs and collect data during sessions.
- Monitor client progress and provide recommendations for program adjustments.
- Develop materials for clients and attend scheduled training / supervision meetings.
- Adhere to ethical standards and maintain confidentiality.
- Work collaboratively with team members to support clients’ growth.
What You Need to Succeed :
Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Skills and Qualifications :
- Education : High school diploma or equivalent.
- RBT Certification : Must have completed a 40-hour RBT training course and hold current RBT certification from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
- Experience : Previous experience working with children, particularly those with Autism or other developmental conditions, is preferred.
- Skills : Strong communication, patience, and ability to follow behavior plans.
- Availability : Flexible schedule, including potential evenings or weekends, based on client needs.
- Transportation : Reliable transportation to travel to client homes or center locations.
- Background Check : Must pass a criminal background check.
