Blazer Jobs is seeking an experienced and dedicated Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) for a full-time, school-based contract role in Yelm, WA.

Key Responsibilities
Behavioral Assessment : Conduct comprehensive functional behavior assessments (FBAs) to determine the underlying causes of challenging behaviors.
Develop and implement individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs) based on these assessments.
Intervention Design and Implementation : Design and apply effective behavior intervention strategies tailored to each student's specific needs.
Ensure interventions are consistently executed and make adjustments based on ongoing evaluation of student progress.
Collaboration : Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families to ensure a unified approach to behavior management.
Provide training and support to educators and parents on behavior management techniques and strategies.
Data Collection and Analysis : Maintain detailed and accurate records of behavioral data, monitor student progress, and analyze this data to make informed decisions and necessary adjustments to behavior plans.
Regulatory Compliance : Ensure that all behavior interventions and practices comply with local and state regulations and adhere to best practices in applied behavior analysis (ABA).
Professional Development : Engage in continuous professional development to stay current with the latest research, techniques, and best practices in ABA.
Requirements
Certification : Must hold a current Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification.
Experience : Extensive experience working with special education students and their families is highly preferred.
Regulatory Compliance : Must meet all local and state regulatory requirements for practicing as a BCBA in Washington.
Skills : Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
Compensation and Benefits
Hourly Rate : Competitive pay of $43-$49 / hour with weekly direct deposit.
