We manage a variety of events across multiple venues, from intimate performances to large-scale festivals. We are seeking a skilled Manager of Booking and Programming to join our team and help curate a diverse and engaging event calendar.

Role Overview : The Booking & Programming Manager will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and booking a variety of live entertainment acts and events.

This role involves close collaboration with artists, agents, promoters, and internal teams to ensure a dynamic and successful programming schedule that meets both market demand and the strategic goals of PSQ Productions.

Key Responsibilities :

• Event Booking : Source, negotiate, and secure bookings for a diverse range of live entertainment acts and events across multiple venues.
• Programming Strategy : Develop and implement a comprehensive programming strategy that aligns with PSQ Productions' goals and enhances the overall guest experience for each of its events.
• Artist Relations : Build and maintain strong relationships with artists, agents, and promoters to ensure successful event bookings and collaborations.
• Market Analysis : Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, popular acts, and new opportunities to keep the event calendar fresh and appealing.
• Negotiation : Handle contract negotiations with artists and their representatives to secure favorable terms for PSQ Productions.
• Event Coordination : Work closely with production, marketing, and operations teams to ensure seamless event execution and optimal guest experiences.
• Budget Management : Manage booking budgets and ensure all events are booked within the allocated financial parameters.
• Scheduling : Create and maintain a detailed event calendar, ensuring effective scheduling to maximize venue utilization and revenue.
• Collaboration : Collaborate with the teams to integrate programming with sponsorship opportunities and other revenue-generating initiatives.
• Community Engagement : Foster relationships with local community groups, schools, and organizations to develop community-focused events and programs.
• Feedback and Improvement : Gather feedback from attendees and stakeholders to continuously improve the quality and variety of programming.

Requirements

Qualifications :

• Minimum of 5 years experience in event booking, programming, or a related role within the live entertainment or event production industry.
• Proven track record of successfully booking and managing a diverse range of events and entertainment acts.
• Strong network of contacts within the live entertainment industry, including artists, agents, and promoters.
• Excellent negotiation and contract management skills.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities, with the capacity to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in event management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Knowledge of market trends and audience preferences within the California live entertainment scene.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required.
