Hennepin Healthcare System (HHS) is looking for a full-time Dermatologist to join our established and growing practice. The Department of Dermatology includes a clinic in downtown Minneapolis (HHS Clinic & Specialty Center) and a strong referral network from the HHS Family & Community Clinics across Hennepin County.
There is a highly collaborative relationship with the Department of Dermatology at the University of Minnesota, a world-renowned clinical program, with a nationally recognized educational program, and pioneering clinical trials.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a young, mission-driven team to provide care to a diverse patient population spanning multiple communities.
HIGHLIGHTS
- Includes complex medical dermatology.
- Ability to perform surgical and cosmetic dermatology.
- May perform cosmetic procedures such as neurotoxin injections, the application of fillers, micro-needling, Sculptra, cosmetic lasers, and chemical facial peels.
- Opportunities to engage in research, education, and teaching are available.
- An academic appointment at the University of Minnesota is required for teaching faculty, but an adjunct appointment is an option.
- Full-time is four clinical days per week.
- Weekend call coverage is limited to once every 6 weeks, with rotating weekday call schedules.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Current (or eligibility for) license to practice as an MD / DO in the State of Minnesota.
- Board certified / board eligible.
- Completion of an ACGME or AOA accredited residency training program in Dermatology or fellowship trained in Pediatric Dermatology.
