Job Title : Registered Nurse (RN) - Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
Location : Mattoon, IL 61938
Duration : 13 Weeks
Shift : Nights, 7 : 00 PM - 7 : 30 AM, 12-hour shifts, 36-hour guarantee.
Job Description :
The ICU Registered Nurse is responsible for providing direct and individualized care to patients with severe and life-threatening conditions.
This position involves the comprehensive assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.
Responsibilities :
- Conduct comprehensive, age-specific assessments of patients, including physical and psychosocial evaluations.
- Accurately document ongoing assessments, including observation, physical exams, and laboratory / test results.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to plan and evaluate care, addressing patient needs to achieve optimal outcomes.
- Assist fellow staff members in patient care delivery as needed.
- Provide patient teaching and discharge planning to ensure successful post-hospitalization care.
Requirements : Experience :
Experience :
Minimum of 2 years of ICU experience required.
Certifications :
BLS (AHA) and ACLS (AHA) required.
License :
- Active Illinois RN license required.
